SPIRITS OF SIWAVAATS, 2019

This image features four boys from the Chemehuevi Valley Indian Reservation shyly posing on an old truck that has been sitting in the yard across from mine for about 20 years. The beautiful patina of the truck combined with the traditional clothing of the young boys reminds us of the humanness of small children everywhere no matter their race, religion, or place of origin. They all seem to play the same.
